The application of artificial intelligence(AI)in the field of art and aesthetics has aroused wide concern and discussion.As a theoretical framework for understanding human psychology and behavior,evolutionary psychology emphasizes that human aesthetic preferences and artistic expression are rooted in adaptive functions in the evolutionary process.The unique entry point enables us to analyze the biological basis and psychological mechanism of human aesthetic experience.On this basis,the paper discusses how to embed the principles of evolutionary psychology into AI systems to enhance their ability to create art,how human aesthetic responses to AI-generated artworks reflect the basic assumptions of evolutionary psychology,whether the innovation of artificial intelligence in the field of aesthetics can promote the development of evolutionary psychology in order to provide a more profound aesthetic experience.
