Based on existing research and the high-quality development goal of Jiangmen,taking the"six major projects"as the influencing factors leading the high-quality development of Jiangmen's manufacturing industry,the enterprise capability theory,industrial development theory and regional innovation theory are used to construct the theoretical framework and evaluation index system for high-quality development of Jiangmen's manufacturing industry,and the data of Jiangmen from 2018 to 2022 are used for empirical analysis.This research shows that enterprise innovation ability,industrial development ability and regional coordination ability are important mechanisms affecting the high-quality development of Jiangmen's manufacturing industry,and the corresponding"science and technology playing a spearheading role,industrial revitalization,industrial park reconstruction,integrating with Hong Kong and Macao,empowering Jiangmen as a capital of overseas Chinese,and doubling the human capital pool"are effective paths for Jiangmen to accelerate the high-quality development of its manufacturing industry.
