The pervasive application of generative artificial intelligence(GenAI)in the translation industry is bringing profound changes in the philosophy and pattern of translation practices, posing new challenges to traditional translation ethics under re-examination and adjustment.Through reconstructing the concept of translation ethics in the GenAI era, this paper conducts an analysis from both theoretical and practical dimensions. On the theoretical level,it dissects the e-volution of core issues, regulatory subjects, and theoretical paradigms in translation ethics. From a practical perspective,it focuses on translators'measures to prevent and address emerging ethical issues, including enhancing data security awareness and regulating data usage behavior, identifying algorithmic ethical risks and upholding principles of fairness and justice, and upgrading human-AI interaction strategies to enhance collaborative efficiency. This study aims to guide stakeholders in the translation industry to recognize the ethical challenges posed by GenAI,reconsider ethics in technolog-ical development, formulate behavioral norms that align with contemporary developments and industry realities, thereby advancing translation ethics research.
