基于引用情感分析的领域知识发展演进特点研究:评价理论视角
Mapping the Developmental Trend through Citation Sentiment Analysis:An Appraisal Perspective

本研究以评价理论为框架,对大规模生物灭绝领域学术文献中的引用内容进行人工标注;借助突变度分析,识别36年间各个时期内频次发生激增的评价资源,并在此基础上探究该领域科学知识的发展演进规律.研究发现,评价资源的分布情况能够反映科学共同体中立、反对、支持等态度倾向的集体转向趋势,能够反映科学知识"否定之否定"的螺旋式发展过程.研究结果证明了评价理论在引用情感研究中的价值,对于改进传统引文分析中存在的问题具有一定启示.
Abstract
This article aims to study the developmental trend of mass extinction research by analyzing citers'sentiments from the perspective of appraisal theory.Through burst detection analysis,the manually annotated appraisal resources whose frequencies surged at different periods during the past 36 years were detected.The results indicate that the distribution of appraisal resources can reveal the collective shifts of scientists'positive,neutral or negative sentiments,and the process of"negation of the negation"in scientific development.This study proves the value of Appraisal Theory in the study of citation sentiment analysis,and it has some implications for solving the problems in traditional citation analysis.
