The paper first presents the major findings of Bibliology of New Books,which lays the theoretical foundation for the present research.Second,the paper names five most important editions of Lin Shu's Translations and makes a brief introduction of them.Third,the paper discusses in detail additions,deletions,modifications made across the editions and their impacts on the Theory of Transmigration.The paper claims the changes Qian Zhongshu made shed great light on the writing of translational works and papers.Last,the paper suggests scholars in translation studies use the methods of Bibliology in their research.
