中国的语言研究缺乏理性的思维和理论的建设吗?

中国的语言研究是否缺乏理性的思维和理论的建设,这是20世纪末提出但至今尚未被回应的时代关切.这反映出如何对人类理性思维进行认知,以及如何客观评价中国语言学理论建设的路径问题.理性思维是人类所共有的,但不同文化背景的人的理性思维表征方式体现出差异性;中国语言学也不缺乏理论建设,但缺乏的是普通语言学理论或哲学语言学.这个问题的背后关涉语言研究中的"借鉴"和"创新"及两者的关系,更涉及对"不忘本来""吸收外来""面向未来"的历史发展逻辑的重新思考,其对传承中国语言学传统和创新语言学理论和方法具有现实意义.
Is it Really True for Lack of Rational Thinking and Theoretical Construction in China Lin-guistic Research?
Whether or not there is a lack of rational thinking and theoretical construction in China lin-guistic research is a turn-off-the-century question which was raised toward the end of the last century but still remains unsolved till now.This concern does not only reflect how to understand human rational thinking,but also implicates how to objectively evaluate the theoretical construc-tion of China linguistics.Rational thinking is shared by all human beings,but peoples of differ-ent cultures demonstrate differences in representing their rational thinking.Nor is there a lack of theoretical construction in China linguistics.What is lacking indeed is theories of general linguis-tics or philosophy of linguistics.What underlines the concern is about"borrowing"and"innovat-ing"and their relationship in linguistic research.Moreover,it is about logical reflections of"cherishing our cultural roots","drawing on other cultures"and"being forward-thinking"in his-torical development and further,it is of great significance to inherit China linguistic traditions and innovate linguistic theories and methods.
