The Developmental Assessment of Cognitive Interconnectedness of Participants in an On-line Teaching-Research Community
This paper has adopted the dialectical research paradigm to study the interaction between as-sessment indicators and practice concerning the dimension of cognitive interconnectedness.Fol-lowing the dialectical research process of learning-theorizing-practicing-reflecting,the authors firstly learned the primary and secondary indicators,then proposed third-level indicators based on the research data,applied them to assess teacher-learners' cognitive interconnectedness with specific examples,and finally made reflection on whether they were scientific and operable.It is found that these indicators are applicable to assessment of cognitive interconnectedness and can reveal features of cognitive interconnectedness of teacher-learners at different developmental stages.This paper sheds light on how to conduct developmental assessment in the online profes-sional learning community.
