The Developmental Assessment of Social Interconnectedness Among Participants in an On-line Teaching-Research Community
In the developmental assessment system for teacher-learners in an online teaching-research community,social interconnectedness,as one of the three primary indicators,encompasses three secondary indicators:interpersonal communication,teamwork,and community culture practice.This study employs a dialectical research method to investigate the tertiary indicators under these secondary categories and their practical applications.Analyzing open-ended questionnaires from 35 participants,along with interview data and reflective journals from two participants,the study identifies eight tertiary indicators.Two case studies are presented to illustrate how these tertiary indicators can be applied to assess the development of teacher-learners'social interconnected-ness.The findings indicate that the tertiary indicators outlined in this study are effective for evalu-ating teacher-learners'social interconnectedness and tracking their developmental changes.
