The Realistic Dilemma,Analytical Framework, and Practical Advancement of Rural Education Revitalization in the Western Region from the Perspective of Population Change
Population is a complex entity with many regulations and relationships, and is an important indicator for observing and evaluating the overall structure and changes of society. It influences the development of education through the superposition of population migration, scale, structure, and capacity with politics, economy, and culture. The migration, structure, and capacity of the population in the western region are highly unique.Based on the study of the generation mechanism of the rural education decline in the western region from the perspective of population change,it is found that population change leads to the loss of educational subjects, uneven resource allocation, lack of family education, and imbalanced educational ecology of rural education in the western region. When solving the difficulties in the development of rural education in the western region caused by population change, the western region should follow its own development logic and analytical framework, recognize the social value of population migration, construct a theoretical framework for population change, change the direction of population mobility, and optimize the policy system of population structure.Based on the national conditions and local specific realities,we aim to cultivate and create rural education revitalization practices with strong western characteristics, and to promote the revitalization of rural education in the western region through supply side structural reform,east-west cooperation, development of small towns, and structural education reform, enriching the practical models of rural education revitalization in China.
