Philosophical Reflection on the Subjectivity of Chinese Culture and Contemporary Development
The hegemony of Western cultural discourse based on the theory of cultural evolution and instrumental rationality,and the poorly ordered pattern of East-West cultural dichotomy and cultural subjectivity constructed by it,have caused the serious predicament and century-long loss of the cultural subjectivity of the Chinese nation in modern times.The consolidation and development of the cultural subjectivity of the Chinese nation in the new era is concerned with the cultural mission of promoting cultural prosperity,cultural power and modern civilization of the Chinese nation.Only by actively expanding the subjectivity of the Chinese national culture in the historical direction of not forgetting the origin,absorbing the past and looking towards the future,with firm cultural confidence,openness and tolerance,and adhering to the principle of observing the right and innovating the new,will we be able to achieve spiritual self-reliance,self-confidence and self-reliance,and to create a new form of human civilization.
