Sun Yirang's Learning Practice and Wenzhou Education Modernization
In order to comply with the trend of the New Deal in the late Qing Dynasty,Wenzhou gentry Sun Yirang founded a large number of new schools,which accelerated the pace of Wenzhou education modernization.The emergence of those new schools promoted the transformation of educational management system,deeply changed educational methods and teaching methods,and continuously innovated educational content.The rise of civic education,and the gradual expansion of education scope had made the initial establishment of the modern education system in Wenzhou.Sun Yirang's education practice not only promotes the establishment of modern education system in Wenzhou,but also provides valuable experience and inspiration for today's education development,that is,balanced development between the urban and rural education quality is the foundation,improving the quality of education is the key,setting long-term education goals and overall planning is the guarantee.
