Opinion Expression on Vocational Education Issues in Social Media—Critical Discourse Analysis Based on Douyin Comments
A review of the discourse order on vocational education in social media reveals that the public perception of vocational education is diverse,with both positive and biased comments about the value of vocational education,as well as high hopes for improving its quality and an inner need to support its recognition.The impressions of vocational education touch on the influence of traditional culture and the causes of social stratification,on top of that,it is also accompanied by psychological factors such as cognitive inertia.The newly revised Vocational Education Law has increased the recognition of vocational education at the legislative level,however,a change in perception cannot be achieved in a single day.As a result of the increasingly far-reaching impact of technological change,it is imperative to build a new vocational education discourse system from the perspective of communication studies.
