The Influence Mechanism of Enterprise's Digital Transformation on Its Transaction Performance
In the era of digital economy, digital transformation is the only way which must be passed to realize the enterprises'development, and the problem of how to use it to achieve the enterprises'goals causes the attentions of academics and business managers.Although scholars have explored the impact of enterprises'digital transformation on their transaction performance, very little empirical research on the issue of the impact mechanism between them has been done in the literature. In this paper,we take the transaction relationships between manufactures and retailers as the research background, and empirically examine the influence mechanism of retailers'digital transformation on its transaction performance.Using the survey data from 642 retailers in China for a sample that conducting the regression analysis through AMOS 24.0,the results indicate that the enterprise's level of digital technology and the scope of digital application have significant positive impacts on the enterprise's contract enforcement and knowledge acquisition. In addition, the enterprise's contract enforcement and knowledge acquisition have significant positive impacts on its transaction performance. Moreover, the enterprise's contract enforcement and knowledge acquisition partially mediate the influence of enterprise's level of digital technology on its transaction performance, and it completely mediate the influence of enterprise's scope of digital application on its transaction performance. These findings enrich the research content of enterprise digital transformation and provide guidance for enterprise management practice.
