Analysis of Spatiotemporal Characteristics and Regional Coordination of Urban Green Development:Taking Shaanxi as an Example
This study is based on panel data from 10 prefecture-level cities in Shaanxi Province from 2010 to 2022.It constructs an urban green development index system that comprehensively evaluates green production, green living, and green governance.Using the Entropy Weight-Grey TOPSIS Method,Natural Breaks, and the Dagum Gini Coefficient Decomposition Method, this paper explores the spatial and temporal characteristics and regional coordination of urban green development levels in Shaanxi Province. The analysis results reveal that, first, the overall urban green development in Shaanxi Province shows a stable upward trend, although there are imbalances within the cities.Second, the green development levels in Shaanxi Province exhibit a trend where the Guanzhong region is higher than the northern Shaanxi region, which in turn is higher than the southern Shaanxi region. Finally, the overall differences in urban green development levels in Shaanxi Province are mainly influenced by inter-regional disparities, which are gradually narrowing.Based on this, the study proposes the following recommendations:implementing differentiated green development policies for cities, optimizing green development strategies in southern Shaanxi, and enhancing the coordination and integration of regional policies to promote balanced improvement in urban green development levels across Shaanxi Province.
