摘要
在全球化进程中,新闻传播学既要突破"西方理论+中国经验"研究范式,又要构建符合中国实际并能够对全球治理提供中国方案的自主知识体系.中华文化的深厚底蕴与智慧在新时代具有重要作用,对认识世界和改造世界意义重大.新时代文化传播学的构建正是以文化与传播二者的共生共融关系理论为基本认知框架,以解决人类交流沟通问题为出发点和目的.新时代文化传播学能够激活强大传播能动,使中华优秀传统文化与马克思主义紧密结合,对内实现文化的凝聚力,对外彰显文化的传播力影响力.新时代文化传播学引领新闻传播学转型发展的内生逻辑在于这既是构建具有中国属性和普适性的哲学社会科学自主知识体系的现实需要,也是学科发展内涵不断深化的结果.新时代需要新闻传播学响应坚守中华文化立场,实现"第二个结合",践行人类命运共同体理念的时代需求,契合文化强国战略,以及适应技术赋能社会发展和新文科建设的需要.新时代文化传播学强调文化传播的重要性和新闻传播学的文化属性,具有跨学科、交叉融合等特征.它既已形成从古代文化中国到现代文化中国再到全球文化中国的传播研究框架,也致力于构建新时代文化传播学共同体,进而实现人类不同文明间的交流互鉴.
Abstract
The development of the world today needs to draw Chinese wisdom not only from its fine traditional culture,but also its revolution culture,and its contemporary culture.In this context,a new Chinese theory of culture communication(NCTCC for short)is proposed to substantiate the transformation of the discipline of journalism&communication as a significant part of the system of philosophy-social sciences in today's China.This new theory is charged with a conscientious commitment to the advancement of research and practice of Chinese civilization as its core mission.Following the endogenous logic,practical condition,and pathways for implementation,the meanings,and characteristics of NCTCC are first identified and analyzed.Furthermore,the significance of NCTCC is highlighted,and the cultural nature of journalism&communication is argued for.Theoretically,anchoring on the symbiotic relationship between culture and communication as its framework,NCTCC treats human communication as both its starting point and its purpose.Practically,NCTCC will hopefully significantly harness all available domestic and global resources and forces to communicate about Chinese civilization.The construction of NCTCC would not only contribute to contemporary China's ongoing intellectual movement to create its own philosophy-social sciences knowledge system bearing both particular and universal characteristics,but also symbolizes a qualitative turning point of the Sinicization of the discipline of journalism&communication originally imported to China from the West.Such a transformation would not only contribute to the national initiative to develop the new liberal arts,to empower social development with media,and serve the national strategy of cultural development,the current era also behooves the discipline of journalism&communication in China to anchor itself on Chinese civilization,to help the realization of"the second harmonization"between fine traditional Chinese culture and Marxism and to assist in constructing the global community for a shared future.NCTCC is inherently multidisciplinary,interdisciplinary,and transdisciplinary.It grows and matures by harnessing the synergy of the three levels of cultural China which consists of cultural China rooted during the ancient times,cultural China rooted during the modern era,and cultural China in the global context.NCTCC's development also depends on a viable cultivation of a community of scholars who are committed to the construction of both the modern Chinese civilization and the enhancement of mutual understanding between modern Chinese civilization and other civilizations around the world.In contrast to the prior research literature,this study has made the following theoretical breakthroughs:First,NCTCC,with communication of cultures as a central disciplinary focus in its scholarly inquiry,is a result of overcoming the constraint of culture and communication,in extension,(inter)cultural communication,as merely one of many branches of the discipline of journalism&communication in China and the West.More specifically,NCTCC constitutes the cultural turn in the transformation of the discipline of journalism and communication.Second,by doing so,it breaks the West-centric framework deeply embedded in the discipline of journalism&communication in contemporary China.NCTCC could be charged with the realization of the following initiatives such as harmonization between fine traditional Chinese culture and Marxism,cultivation of the whole of society's self—consciousness as a culture,self-confidence in its own culture,and self-autonomy as a civilization.It could also aim to develop a modern Chinese civilization as a result of an advanced level of modernization with Chinese characteristics,to extrapolate the universal values of Chinese wisdom for the next phase of global development,and to contribute to the realization of the common human values-based global community for a shared future.
