Numerical simulation of mechanical properties of new horizontal connection device for prefabricated shear walls
In order to study the mechanical properties of a new type of horizontal connection device for prefabricated shear walls, dynamic mechanical properties of two groups of connection devices with different bolt numbers were tested, and the ABAQUS finite element software was used to simulate the dynamic properties of the connection devices. The test results show that the energy dissipation of the horizontal connection device can be effectively improved by increasing the number of bolts and the bolt preload force, but the loading frequency has little influence on it.The results of finite element analysis show that the relationship between the maximum horizontal force, energy dissipation capacity, secant stiffness of the device and the bolt preload is approximately linear, which is in good agreement with the test data.In the case of large preload, the mechanical properties display a rising trend, but the range of transition from linear relationship to nonlinear gradually increases.
