In the era of cultural revitalization,it is an urgent need and glorious mission to learn from the excellent Chinese planning tradition formed through thousands of years of accumulation and create a new atmosphere of urban planning and construction.This research reviewed and summarized the team's long-term exploration and practice of traditional Chinese urban planning theory,focusing on the academic system for inheriting the traditional Chinese planning,constructing an urban-rural historical and cultural heritage protection and inheritance system rooted in Chinese traditions,building an urban cultural space system in the new era,and strengthening the inheritance of traditional Chinese planning in modern planning and design.It proposed methods and paths for inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese planning and protecting urban historical and cultural heritage in the new era.It also explored and discussed the experience and methods of talent cultivation for heritage protection and inheritance in China.
