A study on the value cognition of ancient capital historical and cultural cities:Taking Xi'an as an example
Currently,historical and cultural values have become an important part of the protection system and application for recognition of historical and cultural cities.Reasonable cognitive value is a prerequisite for protecting cultural heritage and inheriting historical context.Ancient capital historical and cultural cities occupy an important position in the development process of Chinese civilization and is one of the important types of famous cities in China.There are problems with insufficient protection awareness,separation of protection inheritance and urban construction in ancient capital historical and cultural cities.One of the underlying reasons is the lack of in-depth understanding of value.On the basis of analyzing the connotation and characteristics of ancient capital historical and cultural cities,this article is based on the theories of historical urban landscape,historical geography,and cultural ecology.Through the dimensions of time space culture,it reveals the temporal dynamics,spatial correlation,and cultural system characteristics of ancient capital type historical and cultural cities.From the aspects of historical context development,regional spatial correlation,and cultural function construction,it constructs a content system and sorts out value carriers to comprehensively understand the historical and cultural value in ancient capital historical and cultural cities.
