Theory and Practice of Cultural Heritage Governance in China:a Literature Review
Having sorted out the research on cultural heritage protection and management and cultural heritage gov-ernance,this paper provides an overview of the significance of cultural heritage governance systems and governance capabilities as well as the future research direction to focus on,which are based on the target requirements of the national governance system and the modernization of governance capabilities.It also proposes an innovative ap-proach to build a cultural heritage governance system to enhance cultural heritage governance capability in three key areas:the governance of cultural heritage carriers,the governance of cultural heritage public value,and the gov-ernance of cultural heritage data.The approach is designed to provide a practical path for the modernization and de-velopment of cultural heritage governance systems and governance capacities.
