Based on the relevant statistical data of nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin from 2012 to 2021,the digital economy evaluation index system was constructed,and the individual time-point two-way fixed effect model was used for empirical analysis.The results show that the development of digital economy and regional innovation level in the Yellow River Basin is unbalanced,and there are obvious differences be-tween regions.Digital economy in Yellow River Basin can significantly promote regional innovation level.The impact of digital economy on regional innovation level in the Yellow River Basin has regional heterogeneity,and the promotion effect on the upstream region is more significant.
