The broadcast right of sports events is a complicated right involving multiple interests,and its legal protection has always been the focus of academic attention.From the points of views of domestic and for-eign scholars,this paper probes into the definition of the nature of the broadcast right of sports events,and ana-lyzes the provisions of Chinese law on the broadcast right of sports events.However,there are some problems in reality,including legislative and judicial aspects and copyright awareness,which affect the protection of sports events broadcast rights.In order to improve legal protection measures,it is necessary to make an improvement from legislative,judicial and other aspects.
