Based on organizational equilibrium theory,this paper discussed the research mechanism of how overseas network embedability affects firm innovation performance from the perspective of dual innovation.The empirical analysis shows that the joint equilibrium of overseas network embedding negatively affects the in-novation performance of enterprises,while the matching equilibrium of overseas network embedding can im-prove the innovation performance of enterprises.Exploratory innovation does not play a mediating role in the re-lationship between overseas network embedding joint equilibrium and firm innovation performance.Both ex-ploitative innovation and exploratory innovation play a mediating role in the relationship between overseas net-work embedding matching equilibrium and firm innovation performance.
