A new round of scientific and technological revolution triggered by digital technology is promo-ting the formation and development of new quality productivity.Based on the dynamic capability theory,a mod-el of digital transformation-dynamic capability-new quality productivity of enterprises was constructed,and A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen during 2012-2022 were taken as research samples to empirically analyze the impact,mechanism and heterogeneity of digital transformation on new quality productiv-ity of enterprises.It is found that the digital transformation of enterprises has a significant promoting effect on the new quality productivity,which is more obvious for state-owned enterprises,mature enterprises and enter-prises in the eastern region.The results of the mechanism of action show that digital transformation can improve the level of new quality productivity by improving the innovation ability,absorptive capacity and adaptability of enterprises.It is suggested that enterprises should actively promote digital transformation,integrate innovative resources,and use modern information technology to reconstruct internal business processes of enterprises.
