Since 2003,the geological community of our country began to pay attention to the progress of shale gas exploration in the United States and made a survey,and the domestic shale gas exploration work be-gan accordingly.With the deepening of research,the petroleum geology community has gradually learned more about the difference of geological conditions of coal shale gas between China and American and realized the complexity of geological conditions in our country.On this basis,the research on shale gas reservoir control fac-tors has experienced a process from copying the experience of the United States to gradually forming a new un-derstanding based on the geological conditions of our country.These new understandings guide the break-through of our shale gas exploration practice.
