During the 9th collective learning session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,it was pointed out that forging the sense of community for Chinese nation is made as the main line of the Party's ethnic work in the new era and the main line of various work in ethnic regions.Optimizing disciplinary settings and deepening research on major fundamental issues of the community for Chinese nation is an urgent task.Ethnic community is a unique phe-nomenon in the development process of the Chinese nation,which goes beyond Engels'description of the development of the human community of clans,phratry,tribes,tribal alliances,nations,and states in the book Family,Private Ownership and the Origin of the States.It requires careful study and make contribution to the Marxist theory of community.The de-velopment of the community for Chinese nation has unique endogenous driving forces and environmental conditions,which mainly include economy,politics,culture,and society.The environmental conditions mainly include the form of civilization,geographical conditions,patterns of civilization evolution,and competition among different civilizations.In order to study the unique identity of the community for Chinese nation,it is urgent to establish a study of it,and to study the formation,development,and improvement process and mechanism of the community for Chinese nation,and share the China unique experience to humanity and benefit the world.
