The survival and development of small farmers remains a top priority in consolidating and expanding the effective linkage between the results of poverty eradication and rural revitalization. The economic development of Fumin Xincun,an ecological immigrant village in the eastern section of the Hexi Corridor, has demonstrated the obvious develop-ment trend of agricultural scale and modernization, the distinctive characteristics of the diversified agricultural business en-tities,the multiple livelihood strategies, and the diversification of small farmers. The stage-by-stage results of rural revital-ization are highlighted in the development and growth of the rural collective economy driven by industrial prosperity, the increase in the disposable income of farmers, and the construction of beautiful villages and happy homes.Therefore,opti-mizing the structure of factors of production, resolving the problems of land transfer and labour loss, promoting socialized services throughout the agricultural production process in a"vertically integrated"manner, and valuing local knowledge to activate social and cultural resources in rural areas are key strategies for further promoting the development of small-holder farmers.
