The high-quality development of tourism has historical value and contemporary significance in promoting communication,exchange,and integration among various ethnic groups,and plays an important driving and linking role in forging the sense of community of Chinese nation.As a modern service industry that combines cultural interaction and in-dividual agency,tourism is embedded in the specific communication practices and real living spaces of various ethnic groups'interaction,exchange and integration from the aspects of materiality,sociality,individuality.In the liquid modern society,tourism activities can establish cross-cultural dynamic connections,shape the vision of a multi-ethnic and orderly society,and provide unique value for promoting the construction of the Chinese national community.To tell the story of China's interaction,exchange and integration in tourism and showcase the unique charm of Chinese civilization to the world,it is necessary to take the tourism development of ethnic regions as the internal driving force,coordinate the unity and diversity of the Chinese nation,build a destination with mutual trust between hosts and guests,strengthen cultural con-sciousness,confidence,and national identity.
