Border ethnic areas are an important focus point for comprehensively promoting China's Chinese path to modernization.Taking the four Menba ethnic townships in the Lebugou area of the city of Cuona,Xizang,as a research case,through sorting out the specific effects of promoting Chinese path to modernization in the Lebugou area,i.e.leap-frog development of the economy,establishment and improvement of the democratic political system,increasing affluence of the spiritual life,continuous improvement of the social security,and remarkable effects of ecological protection,it is summarized that the promotion of Chinese-style modernization in the border ethnic areas should be based on the econo-my,politics,culture,society and ecology,and should be led by the"five-in-one"principle.It concludes that the promotion of Chinese path to modernization in the border ethnic areas should be led by the"five-in-one"principle,and at the same time insist on the synergy between exogenous and endogenous driving forces.
