Mineralogical characteristics and genetic analysis of albite rocks in Huangshiao, southeastern Zhejiang
To explore the mineralogical characteristics and genesis of sodium feldspar by studying its petroche-mistry,ore structure, and mineral combination characteristics. The volcanic clastic rocks in the area mainly belong to acidic rocks, which are rich in alkali(especially sodium)and poor in calcium, iron, and magnesi-um.They belong to the calcium alkaline series and are high potassium or ordinary calcium alkaline rocks. The formation of sodium feldspar deposits is related to early Cretaceous volcanic activity, where medium acidic ore bearing hydrothermal fluids were replaced by sodium rich volcanic rocks. The distribution of mineral deposits is related to regional deep and large faults, controlled by volcanic structures.Sodium rich acidic rocks are fa-vorable ore-forming parent rocks. The circular fracture zones at the edge of volcanic structures and the contact zones of different rock facies are favorable ore conducting and hosting structures.Sodium rich magma provides heat and material sources. The genesis of the deposit belongs to the volcanic(magmatic)hydrothermal altera-tion type sodium feldspar deposit.
