Spatio-temporal Topological Analysis of Dynamic Changes of Forest Resources
Forest resources are dynamic renewable, their spatial locations and the performance characteristics and attributes change in geographic information systems. The causes of the dynamic changes of forest resources were discussed. Spatial and attribute information were described to establish spatio-temporal topological relationship of dynamic changes of forest resources. Subcompartments in forest resources would not be crossed, overlapped, spatial topology changes only included joint and disjoint. Changes of subcompartment in the same time were considered in the temporal topology changes, then combing with the relationship between chronological changes, topology changes of subcompartment at different times were considered, to simplify the analysis of temporal topology.
