Relationship between Meteorological Factors and Growth and Economic Characters of “Xianglin-22”Camellia oleiferain in Hilly Areas in Changde
The growth and economic characters (GAEC) of the fruit of 'Xianglin-22',a cultivar of Camellia oleifera growing in three locations with different elevations in hilly areas in Changde,Hunan were measured during 2010-2012.Based on the multiple statistical analysis, the relationships between GAEC and other meteorological factors, such the elevation, annual average temperature and precipitation were examined.Significant differences were found in GAEC among the plants growing in 3 locations with different ecological types.Annual average temperature, sunshine duration, effective accumulated temperature, and precipitation were the principal factors affecting GAEC.Among them, annual average temperature, sunshine duration, and precipitation were the three most important factors.
