Effects of Different Treatments on the Softwood Cuttings of Atriplex canescens
Softwood cuttings is one important breeding method for Atriplex canescens. However, large scale cultivation was restricted by by the problems such as lack of softwood cuttings, balance of water supply in hyperthermal stage, and the lower survival rate of transplant seedlings. In order to solve these problems, some technologies were experimented and analyzed by single factor randomized trial design and random sampling investigation method. The results showed that the number of available spikes could increase 126.7% by two times pruning than only one time pruning. The rooting rate raised by 3.8% for the scientific fertilization and irrigation. The rooting rate of cuttings was improved by 6.2% for shading of 40%-60%.Plug-plant breeding of A.canescens by substrate tray was a better model, which could shorten the time of seedling and raise the survival rate of seedling transplanting by 13.2%.
