Uncertainty of Chromium Determination in Whole Grain Brown Rice Standard Samples by Ultra Wave Digestion-Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry Method
Whole grain brown rice has become a popular cereal for research and promotion because of its mod-erate processing,rich nutritional value and special dietary benefits.In this research,the chromium content in the whole grain brown rice standard sample was determined by ICP-MS using super microwave digestion,with refer-ence to the second method(Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry)in GB 5009.123-2023"Determina-tion of Chromium in Foods".Calculating the synthetic uncertainty by evaluating the uncertainty components of weighing,defibrillator settling,chromium standard solution,measurement repeatability,and other factors.The standard and extended uncertainties for the determination of chromium in brown rice standard samples by super microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry were finally given to provide a theoretical ba-sis for the formulation of scientifically sound dietary guidelines for whole grains and the development of whole grain health foods.
