The course"Food Safety in Catering"is a fundamental compulsory course for undergraduate students majoring in food quality and safety,which contains rich ideological and political elements.The ideological and political aspects of the"Food Safety in Catering"course play an important and positive role in firmly establishing students'socialist core values,stimulating their love for food safety work,and improving their professional ethics.Based on the overall background of ideological and political education in the course,and based on the content of"Food Safety in Catering",five aspects of ideological and political elements are excavated,namely love for the motherland,professional literacy,food safety awareness,integrity awareness,and unity and cooperation,and their teaching methods are explored.
