Study on the Current Situation of Heavy Metal Pollution in Rice from Typical Towns in the Pearl River Delta
This article establishes a microwave digestion ICP-MS method for the determination of five heavy metal elements(chromium Cr,lead Pb,cadmium Cd,mercury Hg,arsenic As)in rice.39 rice samples were col-lected from a typical township in the Pearl River Delta, and the rice was rapidly treated by microwave digestion.5 kinds of heavy metal elements were monitored and analyzed, and the parameters of ICP-MS instrument were optimized. The results showed that the five metal elements had a good linear relationship, and the correlation co-efficient r was greater than 0.9997.The detection limits are 0.0007~0.0025 mg/kg and the relative standard devi-ation(RSD)is between 2.5%~4.3%.Adding national standard substances for spiked recovery experiments result-ed in a recovery rate of 81.9%~110.7%.This method has a good spiked recovery rate and meets the accuracy re-quirements of daily related analysis and detection work. The heavy metal lead was not detected in the rice of the town in spring(early harvest)and summer(late harvest).According to the limit indicators of the National Food Safety Standard for Pollutants in Food(GB 2762-2022),all five heavy metals in the rice of the town did not ex-ceed the limit standards.
