Scientific and Technological Cooperation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization under the Background of Accelerated Technological Iteration:Current Status and Prospects
Currently,science and technology has become a powerful force driving global economic development and social change,and the competition and game around technological innovation are also unfolding comprehensively worldwide.Since its establishment SCO has been based on the common in-terests of all mankind,calling on the international community to promote fair,equitable,healthy and sustainable scientific and technological cooperation.In the new development context,the SCO's scientific and technological coopera-tion is facing severe development realities and future challenges.Based on China's development concepts such as international scientific and technologi-cal cooperation initiatives,global security initiatives,new quality productivity and a Chinese path to modernization,promoting the high-quality develop-ment of SCO scientific and technological cooperation will help transform scien-tific and technological progress into an important force to promote regional eco-nomic and social development,maintain regional peace and stability,improve regional and even global scientific and technological governance,enhance the well-being of people in the region,and help build a community of shared fu-ture for mankind with practical cooperation.
