Myth is the product of people in ancient times observing and reflecting the objective world in the form of fantasy,and the evolution of myth is often related to the exchanges,interaction and integration of various ethnic groups.Originated in the Kunlun Mountains,the myth of the Queen Mother of the West represents the cultural memory of the Qiangrong people(ethnic minorities in ancient northwest China).Later,with the deepening exchanges between the Qiangrong people and the ethnic groups of the Central Plains,the image of the protagonist of the Queen Mother of the West has changed.The evolution of the myth of the Queen Mother of the West is permeated with the integration of the Qiangrong culture and the Central Plains culture,and its harmonious spiritual core is of great significance to the harmonious coexistence of ethnic cultures.
