Effect of Temperature on the Feeding of Paridea angulicollis Motschulsky
The effect on the feeding of Paridea angulicollis Motschulsky larvae and adult was studied at different temperature rates, the result indicated that the maximum feeding amount of larvae and adult was detected at 26 ℃. The feeding amount of the larvae was 9. 99 mg,the daily feeding area of the female and male were 60. 51 mm2 and 55. 28 mm2, respectively. Less appropriate temperature was 23 ℃ and 29 ℃. The feeding of the larvae and adult was suppressed at the high or low temperature. Compared with the larvae, the leaf area of the adult consumption influenced obviously by temperature, the leaf area of the female consumption was greater than that of the male. The models between the temperature and the daily consumption leaf area for the adult male and female were constructed.
