Development of New Transgenic Glyphosate-Resistant Rapeseed Lines Assisted by SSR Marker Selection
By using Canadian rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) line C9 with glyphosate resistance which conferred by the gox gene as the donor parent, and Gr-1,Gr-2,two elite local rapeseed lines as recurrent parents, glyphosate resistance was successfully transferred into Gr-1 and Gr-2 backgrounds by combination of detection of gox gene by PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method and the spraying glyphosate solution method, and SSR (simple sequence repeats) marker assistant background selection. In BC3,glyphosate resistant plants with >96 % genetic background recovery rates were successfully developed.
