Mr.Zheng Hangsheng is the main founder of Marxist sociology in contemporary China.His main performance is as follows.From the two types of theory,he clarified the research object,the development history of the discipline and the basic textbooks of Marxist sociology in contemporary China,and identified the unique theoretical character of Marxist sociology in contemporary China.Zheng Hangsheng emphasizes the fundamental value standpoint of people's nature,the knowledge logic based on practice and the research method based on field investigation,and clarifies the epistemological methodology of Marxist sociology.This paper puts forward some basic concepts,theoretical hypotheses and important propositions of Marxist sociology with distinctive Chinese characteristics,and defines the research scope of Marxist sociology in contemporary China.Zheng Hangsheng's process of upholding and developing contemporary Chinese Marxist sociology has important implications for the development of Chinese sociology in the new era.
