The education of ecological civilization is an inevitable requirement for the harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature,as well as a common cause related to the well-being of all mankind.It has become an important theme in global education.This study utilizes bibliometric methods to map out the knowledge of research on global ecological civilization education,aiming to explore its fundamental characteristics,key themes,and development trends.The findings indicate that research on global ecological civilization education exhibits increasing collaboration,leapfrogging developments,and extensive coverage.Key topics focus on the value orientation,goal setting,content system,and practical approach of ecological civilization education.There are clear development trends in terms of emotional shifts in research orientation,social criticism from a research perspective,spatial expansion of research content,and comprehensive application of research methods.
