The concepts of"Consciousness of the Chinese Nation Community"and"Vision of a Shared Future for Mankind"represent significant and original theoretical contributions to Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.These concepts embody the patriotism and humanitarian concerns of the Chinese Communist Party,and possess profound ideological,theoretical,practical,and educational values.Equipping young students with these concepts is not only a developmental requirement for advancing the ideological and political education in universities,but also a self-shaping goal for young students to shoulder the great responsibilities of the new era.It is imperative to incorporate these concepts as foundational and pioneering content into the"comprehensive ideological and political education"framework for fostering virtue and cultivating talent in the universities.Given their shared values,the consciousness of the chinese nation community and the vision of a shared future for mankind share an inherent logic and practical foundation for their integrated construction.There is an urgent need to embark on a top-down design for their integrated development from a"broad educational perspective",addressing issues such as enhancing commonalities,respecting and accommodating differences,reconciling the consciousness of the Chinese nation community with individual consciousness,and aligning the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with the construction of a shared future for mankind.These efforts will guide young students to develop correct perceptions of the country,history,nation,and culture,encourage them to devote themselves to the great cause of national rejuvenation,and promote the progress of human civilization.
