Early Childhood Teachers'and Preschool Education Teacher Trainees'Cognition of Early Childhood Education Sentiments:An Analysis Based on the Word Association Test
Educational sentiments are the core qualities of teachers.Understanding the perceptions of early childhood teachers and preschool education teacher trainees on early childhood education(ECE)sentiments will help educators to have a common understanding of ECE sentiments and to cultivate ECE sentiments scientifically in ECE teacher training.Drawing on the psychological vocabulary research paradigm,521 kindergarten teachers and 529 preschool teacher trainees were tested on the word association test of"related to ECE sentiment"and"not related to ECE sentiment",and the corresponding feature words were obtained;The two types of feature words were categorized,and network association diagrams were constructed to visually present the two types of feature words.After the chi-square test,the two types of research subjects'Cognition of ECE sentiment generally converge;The research subjects'Cognition of ECE sentiment reflect the multidimensional structure of ECE sentiment,and the emotional support centered on"care"is the core psychological component of ECE sentiment,but also reflects certain cognitive limitations and biases.It is necessary to strengthen the rational cognition of ECE sentiment through cultivation and training,to arouse the true meaning of ECE sentiment through positive emotional experience,to cultivate ECE sentiment through practice and exchange of reflections,and to sublimate ECE sentiment in an environment of respect for teachers and respect for education.
