The adverse reaction and clinical curative effect of paroxetine in treatment of depression
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and adverse reactions of paroxetine hydrochloride on treating depression.Methods 98 patients with depression were randomly divided into paroxetine group (49 cases) and rafa symplectic group (49 cases).The patients were given paroxetine hydrochloride and rafa treatment.HAMD,HAMA and illness severity CGI-SI and adverse reaction scale TESS at 1,2,4 and 6 weekend were observed.The experimental data were analyzed.Results HAMA and HAMD Scores of paroxetine group in 1st week were significantly lower than that of venlafaxine group.The difference is statistically significant (P＜0.05).CGI-SI score of paroxetine group was significantly lower than that of venlafaxine group in 1,2 weeks.The difference is statistically significant.The adverse reactions TESS score in the whole observation period of paroxetine group lower was than that of venlafaxine group.There are significant differences (P＜0.05).Conclusion Paroxetine treating depression can get quick effect,which can be used as a first treatment of depression medication.
