Effect of Bazheng Tablets combined with Tamsulosin Tablets in the treatment of ureterovesical junction stones
Objective To explore the efficacy of Bazheng Tablets combined with Tamsulosin Tablets on ureterovesical junction stones.Methods A total of 93 patients confirmed with ureterovesical junction stones were enrolled,including 90 cases meeting the inclusion criteria.According to random grouping method,they were divided into control group(45 cases)and observation group(45 cases).After extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy,the control group was given Tamsulosin Tablets orally,while the observation group was additionally given Bazheng Tablets orally.All were continuously treated for 15 days.After treatment,the clinical curative effect in both groups was evaluated.The scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes and stone clearance rate between the 2 groups were compared.The incidence of renal colic,usage rates of antibiotics and analgesics,spending time of stone clearance,usage time of antibiotics and score of visual analogue scale(VAS)in both groups were statistically analyzed.The levels of renal func-tion indexes(creatinine and blood urea nitrogen)and urine biochemical indexes(uric acid,urinary oxalic acid,and urinary calcium)were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment.The occurrence of complications during treatment in both groups was recorded.Results The response rate of treatment in observation group was higher than that in control group(95.56%vs.82.22%)(P＜0.05).The scores of TCM syndromes in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group,and stone clea-rance rate was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of renal colic,usage rates of antibiotics and analgesics,spending time of stone clearance,usage time of antibiotics and score of VAS scores after 3 days and 5 days of medication in observa-tion group were significantly lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of creatinine,blood urea nitro-gen,uric acid,urinary oxalic acid and urinary calcium in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P＜0.05),and the incidence of complications was higher than that in control group(15.56%vs.11.11%)(P＞0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of Bazheng Tablets combined with Tamsulosin Tablets is significant on ureterovesical junction stones,which can re-lieve symptoms and increase stone clearance rate.
