Effect of carvedilol combined with nicodil on angina pectoris in patients with coronary heart disease
Objective To investigate the effects of carvedilol combined with nicodil on peripheral blood microparticles(MP),paraoxophosphorase-1(PON1)and myeloperoxidase/paraoxophosphorase-1(MPO/PON1)in patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods 69 patients with CHD angina pectoris were divided into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=39).The control group was given carvedilol on the basis of conventional treatment, and the observation group was given nicodil on the basis of control group. The clinical efficacy, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)and other cardiac function indexes were compared between the 2 groups. The platelet microparticles(PMP),endothelial cell derived microparticles(EMP)and erythro-cyte microparticles(RMP)were compared. The PON1 and MPO/PON1 levels, and the number and duration of angina attacks were also compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(79.49%,P<0.05).After treatment,LVEF levels in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, the LVEDD and LVESD levels were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05);the PMP,EMP and RMP in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The PON1 level in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The levels of MPO and MPO/PON1 were signifi-cantly lower than those of control group(P<0.05).The frequency and time of angina pectoris attack in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Carvedilol combined with nicodil can enhance the clinical efficacy of CHD patients with angina pectoris, improve the cardiac function of patients, reduce the MP level in peripheral blood of patients, maintain PON1,MPO/PON1 levels, and reduce(shorten)the frequency and time of angina pectoris in patients.
