Efficacy of vitamin A,vitamin D combined with antibiotics sequential therapy in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia
Objective To analyze the curative effect of vitamin A,vitamin D combined with antibiotics sequential therapy in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)and its influences on myocardial enzyme spectrum and toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/nuclear factor-KB(NF-κB)signaling pathways. Methods A total of 116 children with MPP admitted to the hospital. They were randomly di-vided into control group(n=58)and observation group(n=58).The control group was treated with azithromycin sequential therapy, while the observation group was additionally treated with vitamin A and vitamin D.All were continuously treated for 2 courses. The clinical curative effect and occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the 2 groups. The levels of serum aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatine kinase MB(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and creatine ki-nase(CK)were detected by full-automatic biochemical analyzer before and after treatment. The counts of peripheral blood Th1 and Th2 were detected by flow cytometry. The levels of serum TLR4 and NF-κB were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The total response rate in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of LDH,CK-MB,CK,AST,TLR4 and NF-κB in both groups were decreased(P<0.05),which were lower in observation group than in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the proportion of Th1 in both groups was decreased(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the 2 groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the proportion of Th2 in both groups was significantly de-creased,which was lower in observation group than in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the Th1/Th2 ratio in both groups was significantly increased, which was higher in observation group than in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reac-tions in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of vitamin A,vitamin D combined with azithromycin sequential therapy is significant in children with MPP,which can reduce the levels of myocardial en-zymes,TLR4 and NF-KB,correct the immune balance of Th1/Th2 and improve immune status.
