Objective To explore the effect of Bushen Huoxue Decoction on proximal humeral fractureand its influence on shoulder joint function and bone metabolism index.Methods A toal of 92 patients with proximal humeral fracture were selected as the research object and randomly divided into control group and research group,with 46 cases in each group.The control group was given routine treatment,while the study group was given Bushen Huoxue Decoction on the basis of routine treatment.The clinical efficacy,shoulder joint function score,shoulder joint mobility,bone metabolism indexes[alkaline phosphatase(ALP),osteocalcin(BGP)and collagen hydroxyl terminal peptide(CTX)]and postoperative complications of the 2 groups were compared.Results The fracture healing time,visual analogue score(VAS)and CTX level of patients in the study group were significantly shorter(lower)than those in the control group(P＜0.05),while the Neer score of shoulder joint,the range of motion of shoulder joint,the ALP and BGP levels were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Bushen Huoxue Decoction can effectively shorten the fracture healing time of patients with humeral fracture,reduce the degree of pain,improve shoulder function and improve bone metabolism,and it is safe and reliable.
