Influence of paroxetine combined with empathy technique on the physical and mental health of hypertensive patients with anxiety and depression at different ages
Objective To observe the influence of paroxetine combined with empathy technique on the physical and mental health of hypertensive patients with anxiety and depression at different ages. Methods 120 patients with hypertension complicated with anxiety and depression in the hospital were divided into middle-aged and young group(n=60)and elderly group(n=60).The both groups were intervened with paroxetine combined with empathy technology. The treatment compliance, blood pressure(SBP,DBP),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)level,Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)level, empathy ability, quality of life, and satisfaction before and after intervention were compared between the 2 groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the treatment compliance of 95.00%in the young and middle-aged group compared with 91.67%in the elderly group(P>0.05).Compared with before intervention, the SBP and DBP levels of the 2 groups were significantly reduced after intervention(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the groups after intervention(P>0.05).Compared with before intervention, the HAMA and HAMD scores of the 2 groups were significantly reduced after intervention, and the HAMA and HAMD scores of the young and middle-aged group were lower than those of the elderly group(P<0.05).Compared with before intervention, the empathy ability and quality of life scores of the 2 groups were significantly increased after intervention, and the empathy ability and quality of life scores of the young and middle-aged group were higher than those of the elderly group(P<0.05).Comparing 93.33%of nursing satisfaction in the young and middle-aged group with 86.67%in the elderly group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The empathy technique combined with paroxetine in patients with hypertension combined with anxiety and depression can promote the patients to actively cooperate with the treatment, effectively control the blood pressure level, improve the patients'anxiety and depression mood, improve the patients'empathy ability and quality of life, and the patient's nursing satisfaction is good. The improvement of anxiety and depression, empathy and quality of life in young and middle-aged patients is better than that of elderly patients.
