Objective To explore the efficacy of Wuling Capsules in the treatment of alcoholic liver disease.Methods 240 patients with alcoholic liver disease admitted to the hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were enrolled and divided into 2 groups according to different treatment regimes.The control group received routine treatment with Liver Protection Tablets(Hugan Tablets),while the study group received Wuling Capsules.The total effective rate of clinical treatment,liver function,FibroScan liver hardness value[liver stiffness measurement(LSM)and the controlled attenuation parameter(CAP)],liver fibrosis indicators such as procollagen Ⅲ(PC Ⅲ),collagen type Ⅳ(C-Ⅳ),laminin(LN),and hyaluronic acid(HA),and adverse reaction rate between the 2 groups were compared.Results The total effective rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group(96.67%vs.75.56%,P<0.05).After treatment,the liver function indicators,i.e.the levels of serum total bilirubin(TBiL),glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and alanine aminotransferase(ALT),FibroScan liver hardness values[liver stiffness measurenet(LSM),contralled attenuation parameter(CAP)]in both groups decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Wuling Capsules have ideal clinical efficacy and high safety in treating alcoholic liver disease,and can improve patients'liver function and prevent liver fibrosis.
